The Leeds Tech Map is back for 2026 and Parallax is proud to have been recognised as one of the top tech consultancies and AI specialists in the city region.
The map is a visual snapshot of the city’s booming digital and tech economy, bringing together hundreds of companies in Leeds’ thriving tech scene. A firm fixture on office walls since it was first released in 2021, the map is an excellent showcase of the variety and depth of tech firms in the city and provides much deserved recognition for the Leeds tech ecosystem as a whole.
Talking about the 2026 map, creator Stuart Clarke MBE, said: “The first map captured a moment in time for the Leeds tech community, and the response was incredible. The sector has grown and evolved so much since then, and this new edition will help us tell that story. Leeds is full of ambitious founders, talented teams and forward-thinking organisations, and the map is a chance to shine a light on the people building the future of our city.”
We couldn’t agree more and are proud to have started our journey here back in 2010. During the past 15 years, we’ve witnessed huge change and growth in the Leeds tech sector. In fact, 2024 research from Leeds Digital Festival and Datacity found that Leeds was one of the fastest-growing digital economies in the UK, with its tech sector expanding 125% faster than the national average. In addition, West Yorkshire is recognised by UK Government’s high potential opportunities programme as a world leader in data and AI.
We’re very proud of Leeds and the wider region’s contribution to the UK’s tech sector and we can’t wait to receive our copy of the map, which will take pride of place on our office wall.
