About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for researching and developing a comprehensive marketing strategy to support the business in achieving its objectives over the next three years, with the goal of building brand awareness and driving leads.

You will also be responsible for curating and amplifying the voice of Parallax in the business world, both locally and nationally. Additionally, you will be tasked with researching target markets and customers and creating strategies to reach them, as well as planning and executing effective content strategies to a high standard.

You will work closely with the design and content team to develop creative materials and content across multiple channels such as blogs, social media, and email. You will also be responsible for creating inspiring communications and valuable resources that resonate with our customers.

Additionally, you will be tasked with building an engaged audience across our channels and identifying and attending relevant events to build relationships with key industry stakeholders. Furthermore, you will stay on top of industry trends and marketing tactics and be able to apply these insights to your work, and you will use our CRM to provide effective tracking and reporting to the directors.

About You

You’ll be an ambitious, highly-creative and hands-on marketing leader who’s capable of driving lead generation and raising brand awareness. You will have the opportunity to see the results of your efforts in the form of high-value business leads and will work to understand the strategies and tactics that led to their success.

Additionally, you will have the chance to immerse yourself in the company culture and build strong relationships with your colleagues. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong background in marketing, exceptional communication abilities, and a keen attention to detail.

Key skills & experience we’d like you to have

  • Experience in a B2B marketing role, ideally within a similar-sized organisation with a technical and service focus.
  • Strong understanding of classical and modern marketing and be able to utilise both effectively.
  • Experience in a rapid growth/scale-up environment and a hunger for growth.
  • Strong budget controls and project management and the ability to work with multiple suppliers and internal teams.
  • Excellent marketing operational skills and the ability to coordinate and deliver effective campaigns.
  • Deep knowledge of proven lead generation tactics and be able to drive high value and relevant leads that we can convert into sales-qualified leads (SQLs).
  • Awareness of the digital transformation landscape and what customers are looking for and buying.
  • A positive and proactive approach to collaborative working with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Advanced knowledge of a CRM to provide transparency with all of our marketing efforts.
  • Creativity, energy and drive to succeed and strong self-starter work ethic.
  • Excellent communication skills and continuously convince and inspire those around you.
