Manchester digital start-up, Vivify, are making waves with their innovative venue hire start-up. To take things to the next level, we’re delighted to say they’ve now received a substantial investment from Arete to complement our initial investment in the development!
Vivify sees the potential in under-utilised spaces, such as school facilities, and lists them as venues for anyone to hire for physical activities and events within the community.
The last year has taught us all that bringing people together can substantially impact mental health and well-being in a positive way. Vivify believe in the power of human connection and have focused on how they can bring people together whilst benefiting the local community at the same time – not an easy challenge to take on, and one that we applaud them on.
That’s when they began teaming up with schools and universities to make their spaces available to hire through Vivify’s online booking system. Not only does this give the community a space to come together, host events and reduce loneliness, but it provides schools with funding to improve their facilities too. A win-win from every angle.
It’s this mindset that’s just won the team at Vivify support and substantial investment from Arete, on top of the seed investment made by Parallax. Arete has spotted their great potential and believes in their vision and the positive impact it has on local communities.
Their passion for wanting to make a difference resonated with us at Parallax as well. We’re not only extremely proud to be supporting them with their digital transformation project, but we decided to invest in their business, too, and join them on their journey.
Their most recent investment will mean that they can take their offerings to the next level, deliver more value as a business and source more venues to help EVEN more communities – which is a fantastic opportunity for the whole team.
